Job Title: Grain and Agronomy Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Grain Handling & Management: Oversee the efficient handling, storage, and transportation of grain, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
- Agronomy Support: Assist with agronomy services including crop scouting, nutrient management, and pest control for clients, ensuring healthy crop development.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by offering guidance on agronomy products, crop protection products, and nutrient management.
- Equipment Operation: Operate farm equipment, including sprayers, spreaders, and grain handling machinery.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of grain inventory, product applications, and agronomy services, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational guidelines to minimize risks and ensure safe working conditions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members to coordinate operational activities, improve efficiencies, and meet customer needs.
- Training & Development: Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with the latest agronomy practices and grain handling techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in grain handling, agronomy operations, or a similar agricultural role is preferred.
- Knowledge of crop production, soil health, and crop protection products.
- Ability to operate agricultural machinery and equipment effectively and safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons and collaborate as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).
