Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Mill Operator. This role supports daily feed production activities and plays a key part in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our mill operations. The position involves working with grain and feed products, operating industrial equipment, and ensuring smooth production and loading processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the production and packaging of animal feed, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the mixing process.

• Load and stage delivery trucks to prepare for next-day shipments.

• Manage inventory in the feed warehouse and operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed.

• Refill micro ingredient systems and support feed mixing operations.

• Handle grain movement tasks, including reclaiming, transferring, and filling grain bins.

• Perform routine housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized facility.

• Adhere to all company safety standards and OSHA regulations.

• Carry out other duties as assigned to support mill operations.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• At least 2 years of experience in a production or feed mill environment preferred.

• Willingness to obtain a CDL (if not already held).

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.

• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs occasionally.

• Frequent use of hands for operating tools, equipment, and controls.

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, and bend as needed throughout the day.

• Visual acuity required for reading instructions and monitoring equipment.

• May be exposed to moderate noise and dust in a production setting.
