Position: Quality Assurance Assistant
Pay: Up to $18.50/hr.
Job Duties:
- Processes bulk seed samples to determine predicted seed sizing and conversion
- Visually inspects all finished seed lots to ensure acceptable seed appearance
- Processes and submits samples for quality lab analysis
- Works with warehouse employees to probe carryover seed according to customer requests
- Monitors finished crop quality results and initiates actions with location managers when problems are noted.
- Initiates and releases on-hold-seed, within location warehouses and inventory systems
- Helps with tag printing for bagging operations
- Utilizes Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Helps with maintaining inventory
- Maintains a neat, clean, and organized work area
