What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Driver position at Klendworth Project Company, LLC?
Position: CDL A Truck Driver – Local Hauling (Dry Fertilizer, Liquid Fertilizer, Tanker & Anhydrous Tanks)
Pay: $20.00/hr. – $24.00/hr. (Based on Experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate brand-new, well-maintained agricultural vehicles to transport and assist with the application of fertilizers and agricultural products in crop fields.
- Safely transport dry fertilizer, liquid fertilizer, and anhydrous tanks to designated locations.
- Operate pumps, hand tools, and power tools as needed during the delivery and application process.
- Provide outstanding customer service when interacting with clients in the field.
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment as required using hand and power tools.
- Accurately maintain trucking logs in accordance with company policies and DOT regulations.
- Effectively communicate with operators, dispatchers, and management to ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries.
Qualifications:
- Must be willing to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed.
- Valid Class A CDL required.
- Must be willing to obtain any additional required endorsements.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug test.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
- Previous experience hauling agricultural products or operating tanker trucks is a plus.
