POSITION / TITLE : HR GENERALIST

POSITION STATUS : FULL TIME-EXEMPT

JOB SUMMARY : Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the HR Generalist will be responsible for a wide range of duties including, but not limited to Recruitment and Staffing, Employee Relations, Payroll, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Compliance, HR Policies and Procedures, Reporting and Analytics, and Training and Professional Development.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES :

  • Recruitment / Staffing

Drafting / Reviewing / Clarifying job descriptions

  • PreScreening / Interviewing / Selection Process
  • Onboarding New Hires including background checks,I9 / eVerify
  • Maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS) BAMBOO
  • Work closely with leadership on staffing needs and compliance
  • New Employee Orientation
  • Employee Relations
  • Address and resolve employee concerns in collaboration with company policies and procedures

  • Assist leadership with developing best practices
  • Payroll
  • The ability to resolve payroll issues which may include overtime pay

  • Ensuring the minimum wage is adhered to
  • Performance Management
  • Assist with Performance Management including discipline

  • Performance Improvement Plan
  • Annual reviews
  • Classifications / Compensation / Benefits
  • Review of Job Descriptions for accuracy and best practices

  • Working with CFO on compensation and budget allocations
  • Assist leadership with annual open enrollment and new hire enrollment
  • Assist employees with benefit changes
  • Compliance
  • Work closely with DHR and leadership to ensure KLEO is in compliance with federal, state and local laws

  • HR Policies and Procedures
  • Annual review and updates of policy and procedures

  • Orientation
  • Assist leadership with concerns of organizational policy and procedures
  • Reporting and Analytics
  • Provide biweekly hiring status to leadership

  • Training and Professional Development
  • Assist with development of training decks

  • Compliance of training in accordance with GRANT requirements.
  • Annual Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
  • New Employee Orientation (NEO)
  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

    Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent work experience

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience
  • Google Workspace / MS OFFICE

  • Bamboo HR or other ATS experience
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with solid

    organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills

    Skills and Competencies :

    Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Proficiency with HR software and systems.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
