KCG is seeking a Electrical Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities
Related activities to include, but not limited to:
- Performs a variety of analyses of technical engineering data. Interprets the data, verifies product documentation, designs, layouts, or drawings for adequacy and reliability in one or more of the following areas:
- RF systems requirements generation
- RF systems hardware development
- RF design and development
- RF systems integration and testing
- Develops, documents, and recommends solutions or improvements for technical RF engineering problems of moderate scope
- Researches and prepares draft and/or finished engineering presentations, reports, process studies, or technical information used for such things as program reviews, design reviews, and proposal activities
- Initiates, develops, and maintains active interfaces and coordination/exchange of technical information among multi-disciplined engineering groups, subcontractors, and/or the customer. May assist in delivering presentations to management and/or the customer
- Analyzes, develops, and maintains technical databases and supportive engineering
- Provides basic theoretical understanding in one or more of the following areas:
- Radio wave propagation
- Digital signal processing
- RF and/or digital hardware design and integration
- Threat RF systems exploitation
- Communications theory
- Waveform development and modeling
- Electronic Warfare systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Three (3 ) years of experience working as an Electrical/Electronics Engineer in development, design, and prototyping requirements OR three (3 ) years of experience working as a Computer Engineer in development, design, and prototyping requirements
- Possess a current DoD Secret security clearance
- Experience developing, testing, and supporting various digital signal processing and Radio Frequency (RF) applications such as antenna design, RF path analysis, Software Defined Radio (SDR) applications, low noise amplifier, mixers, turner evaluations, receiver, transmitter, digital filtering, analog filtering, and analog and digital signal modifications
- Experience programming and configured one of more of the following:
- Microcontrollers
- Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs)
- System on a Chip (SoC)
- Platform on a Module (PoM)
- Single board computers such as VME, VPX, and PXI
- Experience designing and developing one of more of the following:
- RF Cable Assemblies
- Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)
- Possess a current Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
