Position Description
- Operate and maintain the Digital Radio Management System (DRMS) for live voice communications in the Tactical Training Ranges (TTR) and Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE).
- Provide a single Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) communications system enabling realistic tactical communications across all warfare areas, classification levels, and releasable domains.
- Maintaining, repairing and calibrating electronic equipment including radar, communications and navigation equipment in a training environment.
- Experience with Navy training systems as well as interim training products
- Familiar with DMR, VHF, UHF, and SHF comms systems on Navy platforms
- Experience with TADIL (Tactical Data Links, LINK-11, LINK-16, CEC)
- Established technical proficiency in external communications, Management, Operations and Troubleshooting, spectrum/frequency management, Communications Planning
- Experience in communications system enabling realistic tactical communications across all warfare areas, classification levels, and releasable domains
- Experience in Navy and Joint Digital Modular Radios (DMR)
- Active DoD Security Clearance
