What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Provider/Assistant Teacher position at Klever Kidz Academy?

Our childcare teacher assistants work with young children, from infants to school-age. This job requires a willingness to learn new techniques, responsibility, organization, carrying out curriculum, knowledge of child development, patience, and compassion.
You responsibilities are not limited to:
- Works under the guidance of Lead Teacher/Teacher
- Assist group supervisor with both long and short range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives and goals, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy, as well as following health and safety policies.
- Provide input for biannual assessment of children’s development
- Maintain daily open communication with parents
- Keep accident reports
- Maintain anecdotal records Maintain confidentiality
- Report any suspected abuse to supervisor
- Arrange a classroom environment in accordance to program goals and philosophy
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Inspect and replace damaged or lost materials
- Attend 24 hours of training and staff meetings
- Keep all appropriate records such as records, attendance, and timesheets
- Meet all applicable DHS licensing regulations
- Meet all Klever Kidz Academy policies and procedures
- Work together as a team and take pride in what you do
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
