Automotive Service Advisor

Job Summary:

The Automotive Service Advisor at Klick Lewis will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients in the automotive industry. This individual will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers have a positive experience while having their vehicles serviced at our dealership in Palmyra, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate for this Full-Time hourly position will have a passion for providing excellent customer service, have a background in sales, an in-depth knowledge of automotive maintenance and repairs, and the ability to work independently as an individual contributor.

Compensation & Benefits:

The Automotive Service Advisor position at Klick Lewis offers a competitive annual compensation range of $40,000 to $55,000, based on experience and qualifications. This compensation will be paid biweekly. Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers and assist them with scheduling appointments for vehicle maintenance or repairs.
2. Consult with customers to understand their vehicle's issues and provide accurate estimates for necessary services.
3. Present and explain recommended services and costs to customers in a clear and professional manner.
4. Maintain open communication with technicians and customers to provide updates on the status of vehicle repairs.
5. Utilize computerized systems to accurately track and document all aspects of customer interactions and vehicle services.
6. Coordinate with the parts department to ensure necessary parts are ordered and available for scheduled services.
7. Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or questions.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive industry developments and technology to provide knowledgeable and efficient service to customers.
9. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
10. Provide support to the service team as needed in order to ensure a smooth operation of the service department.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in automotive technology or related field is preferred.
2. Prior experience in customer service/sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Strong computer skills and ability to navigate computerized systems.
5. Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair processes.
6. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork and records.
8. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
9. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
