Job Summary:
Klick Lewis Chevrolet, a family-owned dealership of 60 years, is looking for a full time experienced Parts Counter Person for its busy Parts and Service Department. Potential candidates should be production-minded, team oriented, and self-driven with attention to accuracy and accountability.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, salary position with competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan.
Responsibilities:
- Work with both internal and external customers, via phone, email, or in person to obtain parts accurately and timely.
- Use of the Dealer Management System to sell, track, and inventory parts.
- Parts Department duties such as checking in and putting away stock, securing warranty and core return parts, looking up and selling parts (GM and other makes), creating special orders and tracking parts, rotating bin and physical inventory counts, and other duties as assigned.
- Maintain a professional image and attitude while providing superior customer service.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding vehicle repairs, customer concerns, and inventory needs.
- Adhere to all safety and environmental standards and regulations set by the dealership and industry.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- At least 3 years of verifiable experience in a dealership environment.
- Proficient Computer and phone skills.
- General knowledge of the automotive industry, service departments, and basic parts department operations.
