Job description - Assistant Manager
We are seeking a driven leader to join our team! The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in solar sales and is ready to step into an assistant manager position to help train, develop, and lead our team for our Eugene location. We’re running into a great problem of having too many recruits and appointments, and our manager needs help.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment while contributing to the overall success of our team.
Pay: $150,000-$600,000 (Commission Bonuses Overrides)
Schedule: Monday-Saturday (Flex Hours and Shifts)
Location: Eugene, OR
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead from the front and motivate a team to exceed performance and operational targets.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to improve workflow and productivity.
- Work with the office manager to consistently improve team sales performance.
- Cultivate strong relationships with team members and other departments to ensure smooth communication and operations.
- Schedule and facilitate regular meetings and training sessions, including overseeing new hire training when necessary.
- Take a hands-on approach in managing day-to-day operations, assisting staff with tasks, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of team progress, performance metrics, and other critical operational data in our systems.
- Review and analyze standard operating procedures (SOPs) and strategize with management to implement improvements where needed.
- Set and run sales appointments.
Job Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in solar sales.
- Minimum of 5 closed deals/month average.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and the ability to foster a motivating and supportive work environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on efficiency and productivity.
- Ability to commute reliably to Eugene, OR.
