About the Position
This Automation and Controls Engineer position is responsible for designing, constructing, implementing, and testing Water/Wastewater department projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automation and control systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop plans and procedures for the most effective use of working time for the above responsibilities and authorities
- Maintain software/software files, records and databases used by the metering/substation department
Requirements
- Proficiency with use of laptop computers and operating systems, PLC's, HMI's, and associated software
- Knowledge of Fiber-Optic systems, plant communications systems, radio, and cellular communications systems
