Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Level I Trauma Center and possess strong skills in patient care and diagnostic evaluation.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical setting
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations and procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
- Perform discharge planning for patients
- Utilize Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems
- Administer basic life support as needed
- Assist with senior care and support patients' families
Experience
The successful candidate should have:
- Previous experience in a Level I Trauma Center or similar fast-paced healthcare environment
- Proficiency in conducting sonography or willingness to learn
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy
- Competency in inhalation therapy techniques
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $32.00 - $53.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
