Kline Swinney Associates (KSA) is an architectural design firm in Nashville, Tennessee. KSA has evolved from a firm founded in 1956. Projects include various types from federal, state, and municipal government work to retail malls and centers, from schools, daycares, multi-level condominiums, and main corporate offices to performing arts centers and laboratories. Project sizes range from small individual buildings to $400,000,000 complexes.
We seek to add to our team to keep up with demand and prepare for the future. This person will work directly under a principal and will immediately become involved in the design process and preparation of contract documents. You will participate in client, code official, and general contractor meetings and will be involved in all aspects of project delivery.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage architectural projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Utilize software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketchup for drafting and design development.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and team members to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Oversee project scheduling, construction management, and quality control to meet design specifications.
- Prepare and review contracts, estimates, and project documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications to include:
- Degree in Architecture
- Architecture Licensure is preferred
- 10 years’ experience in the Architecture field with a history of leading complicated projects
- Prepare schematics, design development construction documents, specifications, and construction administration
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in the English language
- Ability to effectively interact with clients and consultants
- Must exhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership
- Strong in architectural design and coordination
- Strong BIM/Revit background
- Ideally possess strong graphic skills in sketching, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
- Desirable skills include Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, 3D modeling; SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering capabilities
- Experience writing specifications
- Experience with Construction Administration
