We are seeking a reliable and experienced Concrete Truck Driver with a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or Class B with Airbrakes to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting ready-mix concrete to various job sites while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Driving and Delivery : Operate concrete mixer trucks to transport and deliver concrete to residential and commercial job sites.
- Loading and Unloading : Ensure proper loading of concrete and verify quantities before leaving the plant. Unload concrete at job sites, following customer specifications and safety protocols.
- Equipment Maintenance : Perform routine checks on the truck and mixing equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition. Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following traffic laws.
- Customer Service : Communicate effectively with customers and site personnel to confirm delivery times and address any issues that may arise.
- Record Keeping : Maintain accurate delivery logs, including quantities delivered, truck inspections, and fuel usage.
