Prior sales experience is required. Experience in furniture sales & design is preferred.
Responsibilities and Duties
Job Responsibilities of the Sales Professional
- Meets required monthly sales and productivity standards.
- Demonstrates strong product knowledge (furniture, accessories, fabrics, etc.).
- Records customer contact in our CRM System to organize, generate and cultivate business.
- Greet clients in a retail showroom setting and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products and services to customers while guiding them through the selection of furniture and decorative accessories.
- Prepare and present furniture selections and pricing to clients.
- Represent the Klingman's name with sophistication & pride.
- Performs proactive and consistent follow-up with all guests before and after the sale and at delivery. Promptly solves guest concerns.
- Responsible for all aspects of the sale from prospecting through closing and account management.
- Works to improve performance based on feedback provided by store management.
- Performs all opening and closing duties as directed.
- Accurately performs all systems functions and maintain operational standards
- Works in collaboration with all team members
- Utilize company technology to communicate with clients, vendors and ensure accurate ordering.
- Must have reliable transportation, a flexible schedule and a cell phone.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma required. College preferred
- Some work experience in a retail environment
- Ability to work nights and Saturdays (CLOSED ON SUNDAYS)
- Must be able to move or lift heavy objects, such as furniture
- Intermediate computer literacy
- Ability to work independently with little supervision/self-motivated.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Must be willing to work extended hours as needed.

Compensation:
- Paid Training
- Hourly plus commission on written sales during your evaluation period.
- 100% Commission with uncapped earnings potential after evaluation period.
