Responsibilities:
- Independently, and under limited direction, initiate and develop creative design concepts and the design documents during the design development phase, including the creation, selection, and / or coordination of architectural detailing.
- Participate and collaborate in design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups.
- Prepare and contribute to design and presentation efforts utilizing Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch-Up, Enscape, and other programs as required.
- Independently develop and manage the Revit model to produce plans, elevations, and sections. With limited direction, produce Revit section and plan details within all architectural phases.
- Communicate internally through timely and appropriate written, oral, and visual means.
- Work with other disciplines to ensure coordination of project documents.
- Assist in coordination of engineering systems with engineers.
- Possibly take on a leadership role within the team on a particular project issue or topic.
- Review shop drawings, material samples, and construction documents for design conformance with some guidance from the Project Architect.
- Take field measurements and attend field site inspections.
- Attend and actively participate in project team meetings
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details, and construction techniques.
- Effectively use appropriate tools to design and document at all project phases.
- Manage time and workload to meet project task deadlines and commitments with frequent interaction and direction from project leadership.
- Travel occasionally to support project tasks.
Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of work experience, with at least 3 years of experience working as an architectural designer. Prior experience with Workplace, Education, and / or Municipal design preferred.
- Bachelor Degree in Architecture OR non-professional Bachelor Degree within a school offering a NAAB accredited program required. B.Arch or M.Arch from an accredited program required.
- Actively pursuing Architectural Registration in the United States is preferred.
- Proficiency with Revit, Enscape or other rendering software, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Cloud required.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully design plans, elevations, and sections in Revit.
- Ability to travel occasionally to support project tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Portfolios should highlight your role on the project(s) and be one PDF attachment, 10-20 pages, maximum 5 MB.
