Job Summary:
This role involves leading water and wastewater infrastructure projects while managing timelines, budgets, and overall quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop and review designs, plans, specifications, permitting, and final construction documents for water distribution systems, pumping stations, sewer collection systems, lift stations, storm water systems, and water / wastewater treatment plants.
- Technical Support: Provide specialized technical input as well as hydraulic / hydrologic modeling and evaluations to support reporting and design.
- Risk Management: Identify and address potential project risks and independently produce mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or closely-related engineering field from an accredited university, at minimum.
- A Master of Science degree is desirable.
- Must hold a Professional Engineer license in Illinois or can obtain within three months.
