KLJ Solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Professional to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and compliance with all safety regulations on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about promoting a culture of safety and will possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Field Safety Visits: Conduct regular safety inspections and visits to construction sites to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Safety Audits: Perform comprehensive safety audits to ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.
- Training Management: Organize and manage safety training programs for employees to promote safe work practices and compliance with safety regulations.
- Drug Testing Review: Collaborate with third-party providers to review drug testing results and ensure proper documentation and confidentiality.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred. Applicable experience will be considered.
- Advanced certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel to various construction sites and offices as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience in a safety-related role, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
- Certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR, or other relevant safety certifications.
