The Role
As a Senior Client Accountant, you'll serve as the financial backbone for a portfolio of diverse clients. You'll manage their complete back-office operations while empowering business owners to understand and leverage their financial data. From accounts payable and payroll to cash flow management and financial reporting, you'll be an integral part of their administrative teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead an account team managing 10-15 client relationships across various industries
- Oversee comprehensive accounting workflows in cloud-based environments
- Integrate multiple accounting platforms (QuickBooks Online, BILL, Dext, Gusto) to create efficient systems
- Review bookkeepers' work, provide training, and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Work in our Traverse City, Michigan office (hybrid options available)
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 3 years of Client Accounting Services (CAS) experience managing 10-15 clients
- Strong QuickBooks Online expertise (minimum 3 years, QBO Certification preferred)
- Remote work proficiency using Asana, Slack, and Google Suite (1 years)
- Experience with our tech stack (BILL, Melio, Gusto, Dext, SaasAnt, Hubspot)
- Real estate industry experience (preferred)
- Exceptional organization and project management abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
