Responsibilities

Manage mill personnel, including supervisors, lead millwrights, and laboratory technicians

Monitor milling processes to maintain or increase production efficiency

Oversee maintenance planning and address production issues

Maintain chemical inventory and manage metallurgical accounting

Provide metallurgical data to the A / R Department for invoicing

Communicate production schedules and inventories to Shipping Department

Stay current with industry practices and technology

Coordinate with Environmental Department on water quality and treatment

Budget planning for operations and compliance with policies

Ensure the safety of all employees and contractors

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

A bachelors degree in chemical or mechanical engineering is preferred

At least 5 years of relevant experience

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with milling and maintenance operations, and flotation operations is a plus

Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis

Valid drivers license required
