This position is eligible for a $3,000 bonus paid out:

90-days = $500

180 days = $1000

1 Year = $1500

Summary:

Accurately blends pre-specified mixes in a timely manner for introduction into the bulk mix by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Constantly communicates, coordinates and cooperates with the Shift Supervisors and Mixers to assure a smooth flow of timely production information.

· Correctly inputs the mix specifications into the mixing computer. Checks and ensures the accuracy of the input. Performs all double checks.

· Weighs and measures materials within “0” tolerance.

· Properly operates computerized batch mixing equipment.

· Loads the batch mix into bag or solid containers for transport to mixing hoppers. May transport the batches to the 3rd floor. Thoroughly cleans mixing equipment and batch drums.

· Assures that the Batch Mixes are ready according to predetermined schedules but must be flexible enough to react to schedule changes as well. Good planning and organization are essential.

· Works in a team environment to assist all Mixing Team Members.

· Understands and completes all necessary documentation in Order to maintain lot number traceability in accordance with departmental procedures. Maintains Batch/Hand Bag Additive and Pigment Lot Numbers in FMBDE system.

· Maintains a high level of cleanliness in Batch Mixing area in order to prevent contamination of Batch Materials.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of FMBDE and minor knowledge Microsoft Excel software.
