What are the responsibilities and job description for the Funeral Preplanning Advisor position at Klontz Funeral Home?
Funeral Preplanning Advisor
Connect Your Career to Community – On Your Own Schedule.
You’re the kind of person who thrives when you're serving others — whether that’s through hospitality, education, community leadership, or consultative sales.
You know how to build trust, connect with people in meaningful ways, and follow through with care.
If you're ready to bring those strengths into a career that offers purpose, flexibility, and the freedom to work the way you work best, this opportunity could be the perfect fit!
Lead with Heart, Grow with Purpose.
As a Funeral Preplanning Advisor, you’ll guide families through important planning conversations while becoming a familiar, trusted face in your community. You’ll grow through outreach, local events, and one-on-one meetings — all on a schedule you control.
You’ll enjoy:
- Financial Security with Growth: Base pay plus uncapped commissions so there’s no limit to growing your earnings! Typical average of $55K - $75K annually with licensing reimbursement.
- Benefits to Help You Thrive: A package that includes medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage.
- Lead Generation and Strategic Marketing: We keep cold calling to a minimum with our database of warm leads from walk-ins, call-ins, and strategic community marketing efforts.
- Total Flexibility: Set your own hours and build a career that fits your life!
What You Bring:
People who succeed in this role are proactive, personable, and able to lead families with care. Those who struggle are often too reserved or hesitant to engage in meaningful conversations.
You’ll thrive here if you are:
- Warm, approachable, and great at connecting with others
- Organized, dependable and ready to follow through
- Passionate about service and making an impact in people’s lives
- Self-motivated and ready to work independently with support when you need it
- Able to obtain a life insurance license
- In possession of a valid driver’s license and personal transportation
You don’t need funeral or sales experience — just heart, reliability, and the drive to grow!
