Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pet Bather to join our team. If you have a passion for animals and enjoy working in a pet-friendly environment, this role is perfect for you.
This is for Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and every other Saturday. We open at 9am. Work is done when all dogs are bathed and area is cleaned up.
Responsibilities
- Bathe pets using appropriate shampoos
- Dry pets' coats after bathing
- Express analglands to smaller dogs
- Trim nails and clean ears as needed
- Assist in restraining animals during grooming procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of grooming tools and work area
- Provide basic grooming assistance to professional groomers as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pet care, grooming, or handling animals is preferred
- Knowledge of basic animal care techniques
- Ability to handle pets with care and compassion
- Certification or training in pet grooming is a plus
- Familiarity with different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
