What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Construction Foreman position at KLR Building and Remodeling?
We are looking for a Hands-On Skilled and Experienced Foreman to take jobs from start to finish. This job entails home building, additions, bathrooms, decks, carpentry, drywall, painting, tile, deck building and all residential remodeling. The right candidate will have knowledge and a proven track record in running manpower, all phases of residential construction and a willingness to accomplish these goals with quality and efficiency. You will be expected to work right alongside your crew and set a good example with your own promptness, good attitude and work ethic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and the ability to oversee various aspects of the construction process. This role requires excellent leadership skills, as well as ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Pay is based on experience with a 30 day increase if you are the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, time tracking, and project specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with office staff, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during the construction process.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, labor hours, extra work orders, etc.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and safety standards.
- Familiarity with hand tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
