We are delighted to share with you the exciting Commercial Lending retained search we are leading for our longtime Client, Westfield Bank (www.westfieldbank.com). This Lending professional will build the Bank’s C&I portfolio in western Massachusetts and/or Hartford/northern Connecticut.

Key priorities:
- Drive business development in western Massachusetts and/or Hartford/northern Connecticut.
- Attract, develop, and manage a Commercial Lending portfolio, consisting of both secured and unsecured, C&I relationships.
- Develop strong, comprehensive relationships with new, existing, and prospective commercial customers.
The successful candidate will bring:
- Minimum seven years of experience as a Commercial Lender, with the ability to manage a large commercial loan portfolio (or equivalent).
- Mastery over all aspects of Commercial Lending, including originating, consultative financial advisory, relationship management, underwriting, and portfolio management.
- Experience as a Commercial Credit Analyst or similar credit background, preferably with formalized credit training.
- Strong business development, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of the region (western Massachusetts and/or Hartford/northern Connecticut) and competition is preferred.
