Position Overview:
As part of PCG’s Education Practice Area senior leadership team, the Manager will focus on fostering relationships, developing solutions, and building teams to drive meaningful outcomes in education. Reporting to the Education Practice Area Director, the Manager will shape and execute a vision for regional growth and operational excellence. This role includes working collaboratively with other senior leaders to address challenges faced by state and local education agencies, primarily in the New England and Northeast regions. Our Client is seeking a long-term team member who shares their dedication to driving success in public education while maintaining a positive and supportive work environment. This position requires occasional travel within the region and to PCG offices for planning, working sessions, and client engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Define and implement regional strategies focused on operational excellence, growth, and profitability in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Client Relationships: Build and sustain partnerships with state and local education agencies, serving as a trusted advisor and comprehensive solutions partner.
- Talent and Partnerships: Develop internal talent while cultivating strategic relationships with professional associations, business partners, clients, and other key stakeholders.
- Revenue Growth: Drive annual revenue growth of 15% or more over three years, ensuring sustainable profit margins.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership in a successful consulting and/or education technology business, with a track record of consistent growth and profitability.
- Established professional network and strong reputation in the Northeast region.
- Strong understanding of state and local education agency challenges in the Northeast.
- Experience leading and developing senior-level staff.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing business plans, analyzing opportunities, and managing risks.
- A degree in education, business, or a related field is preferred.
