Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packing Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are inspected, documented (Data Entry), packaged, accurate labels are created/printed for shipping, and accurately and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations and quality standards. This position requires strong attention to detail and understanding of packaging and labeling processes, as well as the ability to utilize various data entry systems, metrics systems and equipment safely.
Responsibilities
- Performs packaging and labeling on finished products and parts.
- Has knowledge of metric system and capable of using measurement equipment on inspection material.
- Package products according to specifications, ensuring quality and compliance with FDA regulation standards.
- Assemble packaging materials as needed for different product types.
- Entries documented and tracked in SAP.
- Conduct regular inspections of packaged goods to ensure they meet quality standards before packing and preparing labels for shipment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with team members to optimize workflow and address any issues that arise during the packaging process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience inspecting, packing product, and labeling packages in a warehouse or manufacturing environment .
- Use of Microsoft Office applications
- Use of SAP preferred but not required
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and best practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
