Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of quality inspection processes, quality systems, and regulatory requirements, particularly ISO 13485 and FDA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
- Analyze inspection data and prepare reports on findings, identifying trends or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain documentation related to quality control processes, including inspection records and compliance reports.
- Support the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols and procedures to enhance product reliability.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory changes affecting quality assurance practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality inspection or quality assurance roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with quality systems and methodologies, including QA/QC principles.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 standards and FDA regulations is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Experience in fabricating or working with precision tools is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
