Job Title: Immigration Forms Legal Assistant
Location: Tucker, GA
Reports To: Attorney/Paralegal
Summary:
Join our team in Tucker, GA, and play a vital role in
assisting with the preparation and filing of immigration forms and documents.
Under the guidance of an Attorney or Paralegal, you will ensure accuracy and
compliance with all relevant immigration laws and regulations, directly
contributing to the smooth processing of our clients' cases.
Responsibilities:
- Form
& Document Mastery: Prepare, assemble, and meticulously review
immigration forms (petitions, applications, requests) and supporting
documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Efficient
Filing & Communication: File immigration documents with the
appropriate government agencies (USCIS, EOIR), manage related
correspondence with clients and agencies, and proactively track critical
deadlines.
- Legal
Insight & Organization: Conduct focused research on immigration
laws and procedures, stay updated on policy changes, and maintain
well-organized physical and electronic case files.
- Client
Partnership: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing
clear communication on case status, requirements, and next steps, while
addressing inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
- Administrative
Excellence: Maintain accurate case records, manage scheduling, and
provide general administrative support to the legal team.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High
school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related
field is a plus.
- Prior
experience in a legal setting or with immigration-related work is highly
desirable.
- Proficient
in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Exceptional
organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong
written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to
detail.
- Ability
to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity
with immigration laws and regulations is a significant advantage.
- Bilingual
proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
