Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center by managing the flow of goods in and out of the facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, particularly in shipping and receiving, and will be familiar with MRP systems, order picking, and e-commerce processes.
Duties
- Accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly documented.
- Utilize MRP systems to manage stock levels and inventory control.
- Operate order pickers and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform picking and packing tasks to prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow within the distribution center.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve any shipping or receiving discrepancies.

Requirements
Qualifications : Basic Qualifications : Experience Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience required. Minimum two (2) years of experience as charge nurse, preceptor, quality improvement champion or other related leadership experience. Education Graduate of accredited school of nursing. High school diploma OR General Education Diploma (GED) required. License, Certification, Registration Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire Basic Life Support Additional Requirements : ACLS, PALS, NRP certification may be required for positions in specific departments. Evidence of training completion as preceptor or charge nurse. Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement, clinical care delivery processes, staffing, & budgeting. Knowledge of Nursing Practice Act, The Joint Commission & other federal, state, & local regulatory requirements. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to work in a Labor / Management Partnership environment. Preferred Qualifications : Bachelors degree in nursing preferred. ACLS certification strongly preferred.
