Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Lease Administrator/Transaction Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the administrative aspects of property transactions, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. The Transaction Coordinator will collaborate closely with various departments to facilitate seamless operations.
Responsibilities
1. Create and review leases: Prepare leases and other leasing agreements from templates, and review them for accuracy and compliance
2. Manage leases: Track leases, renewals, and terminations, and ensure all lease terms are met
3. Maintain records: Update lease records in a database, and track key dates and deadlines
4. Communicate with tenants and lease prospects: Interpret lease terms, and communicate to resolve issues
5. Collect payments: Collect prepaid rent and security deposit
6. Coordinate inspections: Coordinate property inspections and landlord work with relevant parties, and conduct move-in and move-out inspections
7. Provide support: Provide support during lease negotiations, and assist with property tours and drafting and submitting offers
8. File management: Maintain an efficient filing system for both electronic and hard copy files related to real estate transactions.
9. Process commissions: Prepare brokerage commissions, collect invoices from outside brokerages, and facilitate payment with accounting department.
10. Marketing: Update listing databases, flyers and other marketing materials.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Strong Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues.
2. Legal Knowledge: Understanding of real estate law, contracts, and procedures.
3. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced and less-structured environment.
4. Technological Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other relevant software. Excellent computer and organizational skills
5. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for accuracy and consistency.
6. Research Skills: Ability to conduct research and analyze information related to real estate transactions.
7. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to real estate transactions.

Pay: $44,394.00 - $48,640.00 per year
