Riverside Eye Center is seeking an Administrative Medical Assistant, to be based in the Lewiston, Maine Office. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) through patient interactions, chart preparation, and meticulous supply management.

- Prior experience in a Medical Assistant or Similar healthcare role is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to pivot seamlessly between tasks.
- Exceptional patient interaction skills, fostering a calm and positive experience.
- Team player with a positive can-do attitude and optimistic approach.
- Supply coordination and management in a healthcare setting is a plus.
- Ability to work onsite in Lewiston, Maine.
- Hourly pay of $22 with consideration based on experience.

- Patient interaction including checking patients in and out of the surgical center 2 days per week.
- Escort patients to and from PACU as needed.
- Assist as backup with patient care and work closely with healthcare team.
- Prepare surgery charts prior to procedures and organize charts for permanent storage.
- Provide clinic with printed copy of op notes and lens information.
- Assist the Nurse Manager with administrative tasks as needed.
- Supply Management including overseeing inventory and management of all ASC supplies, ensuring best price on purchases, placing orders, and receiving deliveries.
