• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience 
• High proficiency in Quickbooks and advanced level Excel skills 
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance 
• Data driven with high level of accountability and accuracy 
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to multitask and succeed in a high energy environment 
• Strong level of professionalism  
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills 
• Must be 21 years of age and pass a criminal background check required by the State of Maine. 

• Work closely with fellow team members, leadership, wholesale partners, financial institutions, tax accountants, financial consultants and external vendors 
• Prepare deposits, withdrawals and payments based on banking needs of all divisions of the organization (LLCs, Joint Ventures, etc.) 
• Collaborate with Sales Team on wholesale clients' account status 
• Maintain all relevant finance documentation including but not limited to: w9s, Workers Comp, Insurance, COIs, contracted vendors, terms, and contracts 
• Assist in preparing the documentation to support the Tax Accountant in the filing of various tax returns, including sales and use tax, and property tax 
• Manages company payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, daily expenses management and application 
• Fiscal management of company offered benefits  
• Prepare and analyze financial forecasts and budgets on a monthly & quarterly basis 
• Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and internal policies and procedures 
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process - including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis 
• File Sales Tax 
• Maintain Digital record keeping through ERP system 
• Prepare year end inventories for COGS, WIP and Finished Goods Inventory 
• File Annual Personal Property Reports to MRS  
• Prepare receipts and statements for record retention compliance 
• Collaborate with Acadia on annual insurance policies 
• Collaborate with MEMIC on workers comp audit 
• Procure weekly, monthly or quarterly purchasing needs of Production Team (ie ingredients and packaging); 
• Support initiatives around efficiency and cost savings
