Insurance & Risk Management Specialist
South Portland, Maine
We are working with our client EPCO in seeking a Insurance & Risk Management Specialist , to be based in the South Portland, Maine office. The Insurance & Risk Management Specialist will play a key role in identifying and managing risks to minimize potential loss and ensure the organization is adequately protected and compliant. The Insurance & Risk Management Specialist will manage insurance programs, develop enterprise risk management strategies, and oversee claims and loss prevention initiatives.
Requirements of the Insurance & Risk Management Specialist :
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in risk management and insurance claims, property management insurance experience required.
- Associate degree in Risk Management (ARM), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPU), or Certified Risk Manager highly preferred.
- Knowledge of risk management principles and methods.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with experience in budgeting and accounting.
- Strong technical skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and affordable housing and business software.
- Exceptional problem solving and project management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
