Due to continued and projected growth, we are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Audit Associate with 4-7 years of experience in auditing within a public accounting firm. This position is responsible for preparing financial statements, audits, reviews, and compilations with direct support from audit management. Ongoing career development and training are provided.
KMA is a progressive, mid-sized Certified Public Accounting firm with headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin 53717, and another office in Downtown Chicago.

Your Keys to Success Are
- Participate in financial statement audits, reviews, compilations
- Identify accounting, financial statement, and reporting issues based on professional guidelines (GAAP)
- Gain comprehensive understanding of client’s operations, processes and business objectives
- Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with the client to provide superior client services
- Participate in business development efforts to build relationships with client prospects
- Engage in ongoing personal development
- Demonstrate excellent team skills, positive attitude and high ethical standards
You’ll Meet the Following Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA license is preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience at a public accounting firm in an attest related position
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and GAAS (General Accepted Auditing Standards)
- Demonstrated skills in the area of communication, relationship building, personal development, collaboration, and problem solving, along with initiative and adaptability.
- Experience with CCH Engagement is a plus
