As a Software Engineer , you will collaborate with dedicated engineering professionals and have the opportunity to develop cutting-edge Medical Device products that improve people’s health.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and deliver reliable, high-quality, robust embedded and desktop software for complex medical instruments meeting regulatory standards.
  • Participate in designing and implementing C# .Net services to coordinate and control medical instrument activities.
  • Collaborate with the chief architect on design tradeoffs of various approaches.
  • Create, maintain, and review software project documents.
  • Participate in software project risk analysis and hazard analysis.
  • Drive software requirements with other team members and integrate with system requirements.
  • Utilize software engineering best practices.
  • Work cooperatively within the software group and across disciplines.
  • Work in a hybrid environment with the ability to report onsite when needed.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline.
  • 10 or more years of relevant experience developing software for complex instruments or devices.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing C# .Net services.
  • Understanding of revision control and issue tracking systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in software development lifecycle (Agile) and object-oriented design.
  • Experience with medical device regulatory guidance.
  • Preferred experience with software configuration tools and project build tools.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership skills.
  • Creative / innovative thinking.
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
