As a Software Engineer , you will collaborate with dedicated engineering professionals and have the opportunity to develop cutting-edge Medical Device products that improve people’s health.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and deliver reliable, high-quality, robust embedded and desktop software for complex medical instruments meeting regulatory standards.

Participate in designing and implementing C# .Net services to coordinate and control medical instrument activities.

Collaborate with the chief architect on design tradeoffs of various approaches.

Create, maintain, and review software project documents.

Participate in software project risk analysis and hazard analysis.

Drive software requirements with other team members and integrate with system requirements.

Utilize software engineering best practices.

Work cooperatively within the software group and across disciplines.

Work in a hybrid environment with the ability to report onsite when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline.

10 or more years of relevant experience developing software for complex instruments or devices.

Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing C# .Net services.

Understanding of revision control and issue tracking systems.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Experience in software development lifecycle (Agile) and object-oriented design.

Experience with medical device regulatory guidance.

Preferred experience with software configuration tools and project build tools.

Demonstrated technical leadership skills.

Creative / innovative thinking.

Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
