Duties and Responsibilities

· Network support; back-up, recovery, basic firewall support

· Provides user and login maintenance

· Repair and recover from hardware or software failures

· Maintaining network security, business continuity, records and documentation, and vendor relationships

· Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems

· Assist in the organization and inventory of all hardware and software resources

· Performs system backups and recovery

· Review and troubleshoot monitored backup failures

· Can explain requirements and technical scenarios to non-technical people

· Setup desktop computers and peripherals and test network connections (various internet browsers) and proper functioning of computer systems and software for various applications and programs

· Maintains, and documents Enterprise security Policies, and network configurations

· Monitor performance of ERP system(s) and applications usage

· Manage Active Directory Domain, including WINS, DHCP, IIS, DNS including user accounts/rights/permissions, group policies, etc.

· Manages VPN client access

· Perform hardware/software updates /upgrades as required to maintain a secure and healthy network

· Server Support (Windows/Linux)

Qualifications

· 3 years of experience preferred.

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred

· Certificates, Licenses, Registration

· Strong knowledge in MS office to include Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other software suites

· Working knowledge of Microsoft O365, Networking fundamentals and Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems

· Knowledge of Server Virtualization Concepts and best practices

· Knowledge of cyber security technologies and concepts

· Working knowledge and thorough understanding of testing, analyses and corrective action on systems, networks, hardware, and software in a secure environment

· Detail-oriented with ability to effectively multi-task

· Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

· Must be a US Citizen

· Pass a drug test

· Applicants cannot have any felonies within the past 7 years and no domestic violence or any crime in which a firearm was used
