Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and account management, with a strong focus on building and maintaining relationships with our clients. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategies to grow our customer base.
Duties and Responsibilities
The ideal applicant will be responsible for prospecting for new accounts, providing clients with product & services information, maintaining existing client relationships, developing sales presentations, and following through with each client and opportunity.
Maintenance Sales Associates’ responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following :
Agreement and alignment with established processes and procedures related to sales.Prospect for new client opportunities through various methods including cold calls, phone solicitation, personal visits, attending conferences, utilizing the Internet, and leveraging existing relationships.Work with the Vice President of Business Development to review and improve account development to meet targeted sales objectives.Manage through analysis and solution-based programs to maximize sales growth, volume, and clients' profitability in the Local Market Area.Identifying customer needs and discussing potential best solutions. Proficiency in proposal and presentation preparation are key requirements of this position.Develop, write, and review client proposal documents including financial and technical sections using standard template and estimating software.Develop sales at defined margin levels to attain market share while providing the desired profit to the bottom line.Demonstrate a personal commitment to your growth and development as a Sales Professional. This includes attending product and sales training, attending trade association events and industry related conventions.Reach your written, annual sales plans.Job Requirements
3-5 years’ experience in business to business to sales. Commercial HVAC, chiller or maintenance service sales ideal.Strong customer presentation skills and demonstrated sales aptitude.Financial acumen, inclusive of cost modeling for sales proposals.Experience in developing technical and cost proposals.Independent decision making is required.Computer skills using MS Office 365 required. Strong Excel and organizational skills are a must.Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet the MVR requirements.
