Summary / objective :
We are currently seeking candidates for a Maintenance Manager position to execute intermediate and depot level maintenance, overhaul, and modernization availabilities for boats and boats systems.
Essential functions :

- Provides advanced planning of major overhauls and modifications supporting modernization and design / material upgrades (a.k.a. BOATALTs, LARs, ECPs).
- Identifies Boat I&D Maintenance and repair requirements with Echelon IV N43 and report tasking to TYPE DESK.
- Develops and manages (CMAV) overhaul and modernization schedules.
- Develops SOW / IGE in support of ROH & CMAVs for NECC boats.
- Identifies Overhaul and (2-Kilo) repair requirements with Echelon V N43.
- Identifies modernization requirements with Planning Yard / Type Desk and Echelon IV N43s.
- Assists Echelon IV & V in obtaining I&D Level support.
- Increases the service life and capability of forward deployed NECC boats and combatant craft within the constraints of NECC mission requirements and budgetary controls.
- Coordinates schedule of execution for planned and emergency depot, intermediate and operation repair, and maintenance level availabilities.
- Conducts planned and corrective maintenance procedures and troubleshoot equipment / system failures to the root cause.
- Performs individual observation of equipment material condition to develop the required SOW and IGE.
- Conducts an assessment and the validation of the units’ CSMP.
- Reviews and processes all Condition Found Reports (CFRs), IGCEs, Contact Change Requests (CCRs) and makes recommendations to the Type Desk.
- Initiate and coordinate all inspections during CMAV and ROH to ensure all repairs and maintenance are in accordance with the CMP and SOW.
- Evaluates all proposed work scope, increases or reductions, and required actions. Make recommendations to the Type Desk and to defer or add work to SOW.
- Designing and implementing an inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures.
- Examine the levels of raw materials and supplies to determine shortages.
- Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations and stock levels.
- Analyze data to anticipate future needs.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :
The typical workday is eight hours in length. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, with concurrence from the supervisor. Attendance at prescheduled mandatory meetings is required. Must be available during the core work hours as determined by your contract / location and must account for the required number of hours in a pay period to maintain Full-time status.
Telework :
This position does not allow for any teleworking – 100% onsite.
Travel :
This position includes a low level of travel of 5-15% to Fleet Concentration Support areas.
