In this role, you play a vital role in our manufacturing process by assembling waterjet components, including valves, hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and completed units, ensuring precision and quality. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
- Ability to read, interpret and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems using electrical prints and schematic, including 3-phase electricity.
- Proficient in programming and troubleshooting PLC's.
- Capable of working with and troubleshooting machines controlled by relay logic and PLC's.
- Diagnose root cause of problems and complete repairs on production units.
- Ability to read, understand, install, and troubleshoot using electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
- Understand and enforce all safety rules and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, including 3-phase electricity.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems, including PLCs and relay logic controls.
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
- Familiarity with programming and troubleshooting PLCs is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods.
- Good vision, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and color differentiation.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Technical training or certification in electrical systems, industrial automation, or mechanical assembly is preferred.
- 2 years of experience in electrical assembly, industrial equipment assembly, or manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
