What Will You Get To Do:
- Procures items (material, parts, supplies, and equipment) optimizing price, delivery, and terms
- Monitors supplier performance (order placement, order changes, order performance, etc.)
- Identifies and executes solutions to ensure material flow to customer demand
- Manages issue resolution and recovery
- Develops/builds supplier relationships
- Mitigates and escalates related risk to minimize impact to business/material flow and customer commitments
- Identifies strategic cost out opportunities
- Mitigates cost up challenges and maximizes cost out opportunities
- Maintains purchase order status and shipment tracking information in ERP
- Reports product and material availability to planning and procurement
- Assists in the creation of quarterly Supplier scorcards
- Reviews and maintains ERP parameters related to planning and procurement
- Participates and contributes to monthly Sales and Operations Planning process
- Reviews and takes appropriate action on engineering changes to minimize impact on inventory
- Coordinates inventory planning and replenishments of materials
What Will You Bring:
- At least 2 years of experience in purchasing buying and/or planning
- Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, related field or equivalent combined education and work experience
- Intermediate skills in MS Office, experience working with MRP/ERP database systems
