- Perform basic welding task using MIG TIG, or Stick techniques
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine welding specifications
- Fabrication of components
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to company standards
- Perform grinding, cutting, and other finishing tasks to ensure smooth welds
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines and protocols
- Report equipment malfunctions or material shortages to the supervisor
- Count and maintain accurate tracking of jobs
- Perform quality checks
- Keep a clean and organized work area
- Inspect parts and machinery for errors
- Work Experience: Previous experience, trade school, or formal training as a Welder or apprentice in a manufacturing setting
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems, Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods, working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices and ability to read blueprints
