- Perform welding task using MIG TIG, or Stick techniques
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine welding specifications
- Fabrication of components using a variety of metals such as, steel, and aluminum
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to company standards
- Perform grinding, cutting, and other finishing tasks to ensure smooth welds
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines and protocols
- Report equipment malfunctions or material shortages to the supervisor
- Count and maintain accurate tracking of jobs
- Perform quality checks
- Keep a clean and organized work area
- Inspect parts and machinery for errors
- 2 years of hands-on welding experience a manufacturing setting or related industry, experience working with different welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Cored Arc Welding)
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, completion of trade or vocational program
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in multiple welding techniques (e.g., FCAW, GTAW, SMAW), strong understanding of metal properties, heat treatment, and welding metallurgy
