What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Body Installer position at Knapheide Truck Equipment?
Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Longmont, CO is looking to hire a full-time Installer to assemble, install, and customize a variety of heavy-duty work truck bodies. This full-time position works Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM; additional overtime as needed or required. Pay Range to start $24.00-$27.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What you'll be doing:
- Assemble and install equipment such as: service bodies, platforms, van packages, hoists, electrical components and circuits, shelving and drawer systems, ladder racks, and other mechanical items
- Read work instructions and installation directions
- Gather materials and properly assemble equipment
- Test performance before delivering units to a final audit
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Strong mechanical background
- Understand detailed instructions
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- ASE Certifications is a plus (E1, E2, E3 Preferred not required)
- Previous experience in the truck equipment industry or similar industry is a plus
