What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Equipment Installer position at Knapheide Truck Equipment?
Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Troutdale, OR is looking to hire an Installer to assemble, install, and customize a variety of heavy-duty work truck bodies. This full-time position works Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM; additional overtime as needed or required.

What you'll be doing:
- Assemble and install equipment such as: service bodies, platforms, van packages, hoists, electrical components and circuits, shelving and drawer systems, ladder racks, and other mechanical items
- Read work instructions and installation directions
- Gather materials and properly assemble equipment
- Test performance before delivering units to a final audit
Experience you'll need:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Basic mechanical aptitude
