What You Get To Do
- Assist Finance Manager with the following: delegates workload for Accounts Receivable team including but not limited to orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching & counseling employees within team
- Clearly communicate expectations for performance to team members
- Ensure accurate records for receivables and verify outstanding account balances
- Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information
- Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries
- Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions proce- dures
- Generate and review automated and manual invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing, email invoices to customers, and upload them to customer billing systems
- Research unidentified cash and credit balances on aging report, clearing monthly
- Manages customer collections by investigating circumstances of non-payment; nego- tiating and resolving conflicts; expediting payment
- Assist with monthly and year-end closing and annual audits
- Prepare financial reporting related to accounts receivable; specifically, AR Aging Re- port and Project Billing Report
- Work with Accounting to accurately forecast incoming cash based on current aging and milestone billing plans
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Continuously improves job skills by participating in educational opportunities
- Accomplishes accounting and organization mission through successful achievement of goals
- Ad Hoc reports or projects as requested
- Back up as needed for accounting department personnel
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university with 5 years of experience in related field
- Strong computer skills
- Experience working in SAP required
- Experience and competency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, strategic and time management skills
- Ability to work with strict deadlines and under pressure while maintaining a strong at- tention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and delegate to team members
- Quick learner, analytical, deductive reasoning skills, detail and quality oriented
- Occasional travel required
- Professional office etiquette is required at all times
- Authorization to work in the U.S
- Physical requirements: Sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, speaking, visual acuity, finger dexterity, listening, reaching at arm’s length, and lifting up to 25 pounds
- 2 remote days per week
