Shift: 12hr rotating
Shift Premium: $1.00/hour
Perfect Attendance Bonus: $0.75/hour

Summary of Position:
The Cold End Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of cold-end machinery, orchestrating the tasks of packing staff, and providing support to production teams in operating equipment, diagnosing issues, and making fine-tunings to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate with all packaging area personnel regarding scheduled order changes for the shift.
- Distribute copies of run schedule to operators in the packaging area to ensure order accuracy.
- Track ongoing production to determine when order changes will hit and work closely with the Line Controller to ensure smooth order changes.
- Perform set-up and operation of the roll-up machine when the plant is running rolled product.
- Perform set-up and coordinate operation automatic baggers when the plant is running batt products.
- Act as a roving troubleshooter to ensure efficient operation of cold-end equipment and assist Production Supervisor and team members operating equipment with troubleshooting and adjustments to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency.
- Monitor functions of automated and computerized equipment for proper function
- Communicate with Maintenance and Production Supervisor regarding any equipment that may need preventative maintenance or repair work.
- Review recorded data regarding ongoing Cold End operation to spot potential problems with equipment or materials.
- Ensure housekeeping across all areas of the plant is maintained and that equipment, tools, supplies etc…are properly stored in 6S locations at all times.
- Remain updated on plant and safety matters, participating regularly in department / plant safety meetings and HPT meetings.
- Participate in continuous improvement with regards to matters of product quality, environmental, health & safety.
- Perform environmental, quality and energy responsibilities as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years industrial experience in a manufacturing environment required.
