Job Summary
The Plant Controller will guide financial decision-making at the plant level by gathering, analyzing, managing, and presenting financial data. They will collaborate closely with the plant manager to make informed decisions impacting the facility's financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise plant management on all financial matters within KINA location
- Prepare plant financial budgets and forecasts
- Lead plant business process control efforts to ensure accurate financial results and protect company assets
- Complete month-end CO close processes in SAP, including journal entries, material movements, and material counts
- Report monthly financial results and analyze variances to budget and forecast
- Advise upon and provide financial control for plant continuous improvement and cost savings activities
- Support plant and controlling team objectives
- Partner with plant management to provide proactive ideas and foresight into areas of plant performance supporting quality plant financial decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field
- Minimum five (5) years of accounting experience, preferably in a plant/manufacturing environment
- Ability to travel approximately 5% of the time
