Responsibilities
- Set up fixtures/tooling for the machines.
- Write new programs or change programs for the machines for the development of new products / processes.
- Troubleshoot problems with the machines to identify quality and productivity issues.
- Operate machines for machining, balancing, and drilling.
- Perform visual inspection and measurement process of incoming castings to verify their quality.
- Perform preventative and non-preventative maintenance on the machines.
- Handle waste materials from the processes.
- Receive incoming packages and prepare and ship packages for shipment.
- Provide support to sister shop in Belgium and Albion, MI.
- Drives the highest levels of employee retention and engagement to ensure a sustainable workforce.
- Fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the organization.
- Instills an environment of inclusion, where all employees feel that they can contribute and impact the company in a positive manner.
Education :
- Associate’s Degree in MET or EET or equivalent work experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum two (2) years’ CNC or Robotics experience
